So if you need to boost your protein with an all round plant based protein Hemp Protein Flapjacks here is a fabulous recipe that everyone will love and not even realise the health benefits.
Hemp Protein Flapjacks
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 1/4 Cup Hemp Protein Powder
- 4 tbsp Linseed flour
- 2 tbsp raw honey
- 1 cup buckwheat flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp coconut oil, for cooking
- 1 pinch salt
In a small bowl, add the milk + linseeds + honey and mix. Ser aside for 5 minutes to thicken. In a mixing bowl, add the buckwheat flour + baking powder + salt and hemp protein powder. Whisk to combine. Add the linseed mix and combine well until smooth. Heat a pan over a low-medium heat and melt the coconut oil. Using a tablespoon, add the batter and wait until bubbles start to appear. Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
