Why Straspberry?

Well my little sister inspired me to shorten the name of the detox. Instead of ‘the spirulina-strawberry- raspberry & mint detox smoothie,’ I decided to shorten it to ‘the spirulina & straspberry-mint detox smoothie’ because both the strawberry and the raspberry belong to the same family.

Serves 2

Ingredients:

  • 20 grams strawberries
  • 10 grams raw almonds
  • 20 grams raspberries
  • 300 grams vanilla yoghurt
  • 1 teaspoon of spirulina powder
  • 1 heaped teaspoon of moringa powder
  • 3 ice blocks
  • 200 ml water
  • Mint leaves

Instructions:

  1. Put the yoghurt, strawberries, raw almonds, raspberries, spirulina, moringa, ice blocks, water and mint leaves in a high-speed blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy, if the smoothie is too thick, add some water bit by bit until you reach the level of creaminess you want.
  3. Pour in a jar, glass or bowl
  4. Sprinkle some mint leaves, raspberries and raw almonds on top for a crunchy-chewy texture.
  5. Enjoy!
