Home-Made Flatbread
Serves 4
- ¾ cup warm water
- ¼ tsp instant dry yeast
- 245g bread flour
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp sugar
Mix instant yeast with the warm water in a large bowl.
Add the flour + salt + olive oil + sugar and combine with your hands to form a dough. Flour the counter and remove dough from bowl.
Gently knead with your hands for 7 – 10 minutes.
Prepare a large clean bowl with a light coat of olive oil. Place the dough into the bowl and cover. Set aside in a warm area (not in direct sunlight) for 2 hours. Remove the dough from the bowl and place onto floured counter, rolling onto a neat ball.
Set the oven to 220°C and when ready shape your dough into the desired flatbread / pizza shape. Grease a baking tray and place your flatbread onto the tray.
Add garlic + Rosemary + mozzarella + season. Bake for 12 – 15 minutes and serve immediately.
